The Los Angeles County Mental Health Department has agreed to a contract with two Westside family health services to expand programs for adolescents with serious mental health problems.
Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services and Hathaway Children’s Services were allocated a total of $450,000 to implement a two-year, countywide program to increase quality home-based services for young people with mental problems.
The centers will cooperate in a joint program that includes a comprehensive array of mental health services, crisis intervention, case management and medication support.
