HUNTSVILLE, Tex. — A killer bid a tearful farewell to his mother before being executed by injection early Tuesday for the abduction and murder of a woman. “I love you, Mom, goodby,” Jeffrey Motley said. Joanne Motley sobbed quietly. Motley, 29, was convicted of murdering 30-year-old Maria Adilia Duran. He had been captured in 1984 while driving Duran’s car.
