Miner, from Hacienda Heights Wilson High, missed her career high by a point last Wednesday but wasn’t complaining. Playing despite having the flu, Miner scored 21 points and got 14 rebounds to help Golden West beat Saddleback, 76-47, in an Orange Empire Conference game. Miner came back with six points and eight rebounds as the Rustlers beat Cypress, 54-33, to win the Orange Empire Conference title.

* Cypress, sophomore. Averaged 13.5 points, eight rebounds and three assists as the Chargers split two games.
Maggie Gorska
* Saddleback, freshman. She had 34 points and 22 rebounds as the Gauchos split two games.
