SEASON AT A GLANCE: George, a 6-foot-5 forward, is leading the Lobos with 17.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. A three-year varsity starter, George played for Littlerock when the Lobos beat Palmdale in 1993. That was the Falcons’ last Golden League loss before George and Littlerock brought them down again last week.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Besides wanting to end Palmdale’s 25-game winning streak in league play, Littlerock needed a victory to get back into the playoff hunt. George scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the Lobos’ 65-57 upset at Palmdale. “He elevated his game that night,” Littlerock Coach Mark Groh said, “especially in the fourth quarter.” Despite four fouls after three quarters, George scored 13 points in the final period. In a victory over Quartz Hill on Friday, George scored 19 points on eight-of-12 shooting.
