HUNTINGTON BEACH — Police are seeking a teen-ager suspected of burglarizing numerous homes in the southeast portion of the city in the past month.
Police said he knocks on doors and asks residents if they have seen his dog. If nobody answers the door, he goes to the back yard and looks for an unlocked window or door. In some cases, police said, he has broken windows to get in.
The burglar takes prescription drugs, jewelry, cash and in at least one case, a gun, Johnson said.
He is described as a pale 17-year-old, 5 feet, 8 inches tall with shoulder-length blond hair, Police Sgt. Dan Johnson said.
Police are asking anyone with information about the suspect or the burglaries to call (714) 536-5969.
