Crenshaw Girls Improve to 28-0 by Defeating Washington in Final

Naila Moseley scored 18 points to lead the Crenshaw High girls’ basketball team to a 56-46 victory over Washington and its third consecutive City Section Division 4-A title, Saturday night at Cal State Dominguez Hills.
Crenshaw (28-0) led, 41-33, at the end of the third quarter, but Washington went on a 13-7 run to cut the lead to 48-46 with 59 seconds remaining.
Kristi Lattin made six of six free throws in the final minute and Bridget Jemison and Sophia Walker each made one to seal the victory. Lattin finished with 16 points and 13 rebounds.
Tina Greer and Kanisha Best each scored 13 points and Laneishe Williams scored 11 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for Washington (18-7).
