1994: 18-0, 10-0 in the Olympic League. Won the Division III championship, defeating Santa Ynez.
Key returners: James Folmar, 5-11, back-row specialist, Sr.; Aaron Fountain, 6-2, outside hitter, Sr.; John Glover, 6-2, middle blocker, Sr.; Jason Mandall, 6-3, outside hitter, Jr.; Josh Miller, 5-8, back-row specialist, So.; Robert Schildts, 6-7, middle blocker, Sr.; Chris Simmons, 6-1, outside hitter, Sr.; Matt Wright, 5-8, setter, Sr.
Key newcomers: Craig Casey, 6-2, outside hitter, Sr.; Jose Cervantes, 6-0, middle blocker, Sr.; Don Goodwin, 5-8, back-row specialist, Jr.; Josh Lewis, 6-2, outside hitter, Jr.; Nate Morton, 6-5, middle blocker, Sr.
Outlook: Five starters return, but the Eagles’ best player, Division III MVP Philip Schildts, is now at Orange Coast College. So his brother, Robert, and Wright will step into the leadership roles. Glover and Mandall also started last season as did Fountain, who is nursing a knee injury. The Eagles have the weapons to repeat, but will have a tougher road with the move up to Division II.
