Morrison Knudsen Names CEO: Robert A. Tinstman will become president and chief executive as the construction and engineering company begins what is expected to be a lengthy campaign to return to solvency. Tinstman, 48, was named acting chief operating officer of Boise, Ida.-based Morrison Knudsen Corp. last month. The announcement comes nearly a month after directors of Morrison Knudsen, which has helped build landmarks ranging from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Hoover Dam, fired Chairman William Agee.
