Inglewood Council Incumbents Lead

With all votes counted in two Inglewood City Council races, incumbent Garland Hardeman led three challengers by a narrow margin in District 4 while incumbent Jose Fernandez had a hefty lead in the District 3 contest.
The winner in each race must garner a majority of votes to avoid a June 6 runoff.
In battles for Inglewood school board seats, challenger Gloria Dean Gray led incumbent Lois Hill Hale by a narrow margin for one seat, while incumbent Loystene Irvin had a strong lead over challenger James E. Khoury in the other race.
