Obituaries : Patricia Ann Quartemont; Ex-Shell Oil Secretary

Patricia Ann Quartemont, a Ventura resident and a retired secretary, has died. She was 71.
A native of Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. Quartemont moved to Santa Barbara with her husband in 1961. She moved to Ventura in 1977 after his death so she could be closer to one of her daughters.
In Ventura, Mrs. Quartemont worked as executive secretary for Shell Oil Co. before retiring in 1989.
After her retirement, Mrs. Quartemont served as a volunteer for several local organizations, including Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and cultivated a garden.
She is survived by daughters Cheryl Loyal of Ventura and Cindy Gervais of San Martin, and a son, Kim Quartemont of Hawaii.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Charles Carroll Funeral Home.
