THOUSAND OAKS : Civic Arts Plaza Photos Available

More than 600 photographs from the grand opening of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza go on sale to the public starting next week.
The photos include candid shots of party-goers, action shots of performers and photographs of the official dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremonies. They will be on display in the City Clerk’s office at City Hall from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, April 17 to 20.
Residents can select photographs to order from four albums showing scenes from the Oct. 21 performance, the Oct. 22 performance, activities from Oct. 23, or the Forum Theatre opening in September.
Performances by Bernadette Peters, the Conejo Symphony, Cal Lutheran’s Jungalbook and Man of La Mancha are all included. The photographs were taken by Forrest Frields.
Prices range from $10 for 5-by-7-inch reprints to $39 for 11-by-14-inch reprints, plus shipping and handling. Proceeds from the sales will go to the Alliance for the Arts endowment fund. Call 379-1966 for more information.
