Police Arrest 32 After Probe Into 3-City Theft Ring

ANAHEIM — Police said Friday that a monthlong investigation of a theft ring has resulted in 32 arrests and the recovery of more than $150,000 in stolen goods in Anaheim, Santa Ana and Newport Beach.
On Wednesday, investigators and detectives searched a residence in the 1400 block of North Gunther Street in Santa Ana, where they said they found $25,000 in stolen goods and arrested the resident, Maurice Earl Harrigan, 31, on suspicion of possession of stolen goods.
On Friday, police searched a business in the 1400 block of North Daly Street in Anaheim, where they said they recovered more than $100,000 in stolen valuables, including paintings, silverware, antiques and vases.
Police determined that the goods had been taken from a Newport Beach resident.
At the business, police arrested three men on suspicion of possession of stolen goods: Warren Kent Weber, 31, of Anaheim; William Thomas Jackson, 50, and Kevin Lee Snyder, 30, both transients.
Other searches in Newport Beach yielded more stolen paintings and collectibles.
