FULLERTON/LA HABRA : Double Duty to Be Done by Principal
- Share via
Principal Cindy Hall Ranii of Sonora High School in La Habra will take over as principal of Fullerton High School and will temporarily do both jobs.
Ranii, 47, of Fullerton will head both schools beginning May 4 while the district seeks a new principal for Sonora.
Ranii was chosen last week to become Fullerton’s full-time principal after Magali (Mikki) Gil accepted a job at Southern California College in Costa Mesa.
Gil will be director of the college’s graduate education program and professor of education. She leaves the Fullerton Joint Union High School District after less than a year in her post.
Meanwhile, Ranii will preside over Sonora’s graduation in June, as well as graduation at Fullerton High, where her son, Anthony, is a senior.
Ranii came to the district in 1984 and has served as a coordinator of alternative and continuing education, a director of state and federal projects and administrator of instructional Services. She became Sonora’s principal in 1992.
