BE KIND TO KATO
Why on Earth would you choose to print such letters of bitterness (April 23)? Did it ever occur to you that Kato Kaelin might pick up your magazine and read these verbal assaults on his character? Those letters were juvenile, hurtful and not what I would characterize as “constructive criticism”!
As a struggling rock singer, I know that one needs to jump on every opportunity in L.A. to achieve success in the industry. He is only doing just that and does not deserve to be slandered.
Kato, if you’re reading this, I think you’re swell!

How can these incredibly mean-spirited writers justify their hatred in a public forum? Do they know that Kato has a young daughter who can read? Do they care? What wrong has he committed to warrant this torrent of verbal abuse? How would these sad, hate-filled writers like such letters printed about themselves?
