Los Robles Bank, an independent bank based in Thousand Oaks, has opened a branch in Westlake Village.
Robert B. Hamilton, the bank’s president, opened the new office by cutting a “money ribbon” of $20 bills that were contributed to Under One Roof, a group devoted to low-income housing in the Conejo Valley.
Mary Guy, a Los Robles vice president, was named manager of the new branch.
Los Robles, founded in 1987, claims to be the only commercial bank headquartered in the Conejo Valley. The bank has assets of more than $71 million.
