Marie E. Elder, a Simi Valley woman who worked for 40 years as a social worker for Los Angeles County, has died. She was 89.
She is survived by a son and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Rosary church in Paramount, said a spokesman for Reardon Simi Valley Mortuary, which is handling the arrangements.
