Alice Lorraine Quady; Homemaker, Pianist

Alice Lorraine Quady, a longtime Thousand Oaks resident and mother of seven, died Friday. She was 71.
Born on Sept. 9, 1923, in Minneapolis, Minn., Quady had lived in Thousand Oaks for 27 years. She previously lived in Rolling Hills Estates in Los Angeles County. A homemaker and an accomplished pianist, Quady was a member of Sigma Alpha Iota Music Society and Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Emmett, sons Steve, Sherwood and Scott, and daughters Sally, Sarah, Susan Dean and Sandra Matthews.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Pierce Brothers Griffin Mortuary in Thousand Oaks.
