It’s back to the drawing board for a La Puente group seeking to recall Councilmen Louis Perez, Edward L. Chavez and Joe V. Alderete.
This week, City Clerk Linda K. Groves returned drafts of the recall petitions submitted by Alexander Casias, head of Skunk Busters for Better Government. The drafts did not include written responses to the recall from two of the council members, as required by state law.
“I don’t plan to give up. I shall return again and again until we get a recall,” Casias said.
