Are We There Yet?

Once a family leaves the house to go on summer vacation, how long does it take for at least one child to ask, “Are We There Yet?” Below are the results of a survey of about 500 kids and 860 parents on how long into the trip it took for the dreaded question to be asked.

10 minutes or less: 14%

11-20 minutes: 6%

21-30 minutes: 10%

31 minutes to an hour: 19%

Over 1 hour, less than 2: 30%

2 hours: 14%

Over 2 hours: 15%

Never ask: 14%

Don’t know: 5%
