Miami Dolphin all-pro tight end Eric Green will be out indefinitely after tearing cartilage in his left knee in an injury similar to the one that has sidelined quarterback Dan Marino.
Green was a free agent signed during the off-season after playing five seasons for Pittsburgh. He apparently hurt the knee in the second quarter of the Dolphins’ 33-30 loss to New Orleans.
