B.J. Wallace
Santa Ana Valley, Senior
Football/Running back
Santa Ana Valley hasn’t qualified for the playoffs since 1979, but showed Thursday it is definitely in the running for a spot this year with a 27-0 victory over Orange. Wallace, as usual, was in the thick of things for the Falcons. He carried the ball 31 times for 184 yards and three touchdowns. “When B.J. is determined, it is hard to bring him down,” Santa Ana Valley Coach Scott Orloff said. Wallace, a linebacker, also helped the Falcon defense hold Orange to 103 yards in total offense. His interception and return of 20 yards helped set up the first touchdown, his four-yarder.
