SEASON AT A GLANCE: After opening the season with an eighth-place finish in the junior race of the Seaside Invitational at San Buenaventura State Beach in Ventura, Neipp has won six consecutive races. She won her race in the Mt. San Antonio College Invitational on Saturday with a time of 17 minutes 38 seconds over the three-mile course.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Neipp was so far ahead--98 seconds--of the second-place finisher in her race that Mt. SAC officials failed to notice when she finished and initially credited her with a 19:16 clocking. The time was corrected after several people who timed the race verified Neipp’s performance. “I know people are going to question the time, but it’s legit,” Highland Coach John Johnston said. “She ran a perfect race. It wasn’t a fluke.”
