VICTORVILLE--Commemorate a revitalized downtown and the opening of the California Route 66 Museum at the daylong “Turning on the Lights in Old Town” celebration Nov. 11. Festivities, beginning at 7 a.m. with a pancake breakfast, are at four sites on and around 7th and D streets. Also featured: A car show, community fairs, sidewalk chalk art contest, vintage rock ‘n’ roll by the Legends and a museum dedication. REDLANDS--Animals are depicted in paintings, sculptures, prints and carvings at the 13th annual Wildlife Art Festival, Nov. 17-19 at the San Bernardino County Museum, 2024 Orange Tree Lane. Highlights include art exhibits and sales, visiting animals from the Wildlife Waystation, a festival marketplace and environmental booths. $5, general; $4, seniors and students; $3, kids 2-12; free for members. 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday-Saturday; 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. SOLVANG--The fifth annual Solvang Dixieland Jazz Festival is Nov. 17-19 at the Solvang Royal Scandinavian Inn, 400 Alisal Road. The three festival events are Music by the Misbehavin’ Jazz Band and a barbecue dinner, 6 p.m. Friday; the Blue Street Jazz Band with a picnic dinner, 6 p.m. Saturday, and the Nightblooming Jazz Men playing for a brunch, 10 a.m. Sunday. $20 per event; $55, festival pass.
