54 HOURS : A Berry Merry Village
Knott’s Berry Farm’s Ghost Town is temporarily separated from the rest of the park to create Knott’s Merry Farm with a 60-acre Christmas Crafts Village featuring more than 100 artisans, strolling carolers, choirs and live performances of “Gift of the Magi” and Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.”
The village is decked out in 1880s holiday decor, and each night there will be a tree lighting and procession. There are also more kids-oriented pursuits, such as “Snoopy’s 12 Days of Christmas on Ice,” open Fridays-Sundays and daily Dec. 15-24, for an additional $2; children 3-11, $1. (The “Snoopy” show is included in the park’s regular admission price after that, through Jan. 2). You don’t have to pay theme park admission to get in the crafts village, open Friday through Dec. 24. The $3.50 admission (children 3-11, free) is good for unlimited admission throughout the month.
Hours vary, but most weekdays, the hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Knott’s Berry Farm, 8039 Beach Blvd., Buena Park. (714) 220-5200.
