Central Los Angeles : ‘SONS DAY’ POSTPONED

“Take Your Sons to Work Day,” an event organized by local leaders in the wake of the “Million Man March,” has been rescheduled for February to coincide with Black History Month, officials of First African Methodist Episcopal Church said. The event had been set for today. .
The event is modeled after a similar one during which women take their daughters and other girls to work.
Church officials and members of the New Leaders, a coalition of African American activists, planned the day shortly after the Washington march.
