Str8 to the List

A single from a posthumous album by seminal gangsta rapper Eazy-E is No. 9 this week on The Times’ Southern California singles chart. “Just Tah Let U Know,” which entered the charts two weeks ago, is the first single from “Str8 Off the Streetz of Muthaph***in’ Compton,” which is due out next month. Eazy-E, a founding member of N.W.A., was working on the collection when he died of complications from AIDS last March 26. Another posthumous collection, Selena’s “Dreaming of You,” has been No. 1 on the local and national Latin album charts since its release in July.
