A 72-year-old man was found dead Sunday morning in his Manhattan Beach home, the apparent victim of a homicide, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said.
The body was found about 9 a.m. inside a home in the 500 block of Larsson Street, Deputy Matthew Rodriguez said.
It was not known how the man died or how long he had been dead, Rodriguez said. A friend of the victim found the body, he added.
The name of the victim was not released pending notification of relatives.
The death marks the second homicide in Manhattan Beach in the past four months. During an early-morning walk on the beach Oct. 1, Christopher Dwayne Barreto, 25, was stabbed to death by three robbers.
