Sixty second- and third-grade students from Madrona Elementary School in Thousand Oaks will share the Civic Arts Plaza stage Friday with Disney performer Craig Taubman.
Children in the Madrona Primary Chorus began practicing in early December to prepare for the two one-hour shows at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The students will perform two numbers with Craig ‘n Co., one of the most popular children’s performers, said Nancy Frawley, director of the Conejo Valley Children’s Concert Series. The songs are “One,” and “Voice of the Spirit.”
“It’s a very lively performance,” she said. “It’s kid rock ‘n’ roll. The audience is always up and dancing in the aisles.”
Frawley said some tickets are still available for both performances, though they are selling quickly. Tickets are $5 for the 5 p.m. show and $7 for the 7 p.m. show.
For more information, call Frawley at 493-4348.
