They’ll Be Taking Stock in a Grand Reopening

They’re predicting a successful reopening Saturday at Santa Ana River Lakes and with good reason: Outdoor Safaris International, which operates the concession at the Orange County facility, has stocked the two main reservoirs with 15,000 pounds of rainbow trout and catfish.
The reservoir had been closed and drawn down for repair work. In conjunction with the reopening, Berkley Power Bait is sponsoring a fishing contest in which the angler with the biggest fish on Saturday and Sunday will get $100.
