La Reina Matches Record With Win Over Oak Park

The La Reina High girls’ soccer team tied a Southern Section record Wednesday with its 46th consecutive league victory, a 7-0 decision over Oak Park in a Tri-Valley League match at Oak Park.
The Regents (10-3-2, 2-0-1 in league play) will try to break the mark, set by La Quinta from 1983-87, at Bishop Diego on Friday.
Against Oak Park, Alica Bueschen and Tara Lyerly each scored two goals, and goalkeeper Kristy Graves had two saves.
Simi Valley 1, Royal 0--Anna Wolleck scored off a crossing pass from Alex Ingraham in the second minute of play in a Marmonte League upset at Royal High.
Erin Janke made six saves for Simi Valley (6-10-1, 2-5). Melissa Endy stopped four shots for Royal (11-5-1, 5-2).
Westlake 2, Agoura 1--Stacia Spangler and Megan Daly each scored goals for the Warriors (9-5, 5-2) in a Marmonte League match at Agoura. Mary Stuart scored for the Chargers (11-3, 5-2), who trailed, 2-0, at halftime.
Camarillo 4, Channel Islands 0--Becky Stackhouse scored twice for Camarillo (4-7-1, 2-4), and Staci Neuman and Stephanie Jaeger each added one goal in a Marmonte League match at Channel Islands. Lori Bailey had six saves.
Notre Dame 2, Calabasas 1--Megan Quinn and Melissa Rubey scored for the visiting Knights (7-7-2) in a nonleague match.
Jessica Armacost scored for the Coyotes (4-5-3).
BOYS
Harvard-Westlake 1, Chaminade 0--Jason Morrow scored in the 70th minute for the Wolverines (11-5-3, 5-3) in a Mission League match.
St. Francis 4, Crespi 0--Pete Vagenas scored two goals in the second half for the Golden Knights (15-3, 5-2) in a Mission League match at Crespi. The Celts (2-8-3, 0-5-1) had only one shot on goal.
Thousand Oaks 2, Newbury Park 1--Jack Wilson, who scored twice, notched the game-winning goal with two minutes remaining for visiting Thousand Oaks (3-8-5, 2-4-1) in a Marmonte League match.
Westlake 3, Agoura 1--Rossana Rocha scored twice for the host Warriors (11-1-1, 6-1) in a Marmonte League match. Jeremy Wessly added a goal, and Robert Ackah had five saves.
El Camino Real 2, Birmingham 1--Jeff Soll scored in the 65th minute as the Conquistadores (6-5-2, 3-2-2) upset the Braves (5-1-1 in conference play) in a Northwest Valley Conference match at El Camino Real.
Chatsworth 2, Taft 1--Michael Pries scored his 18th and 19th goals for the Chancellors (6-6-2, 4-2-1) in a Northwest Valley Conference match at Taft. Guy Klein had two saves for Chatsworth.
