Seabourn to Buy Kloster Cruise Ship: Seabourn Cruise Line, 50%-owned by Carnival Corp., said it has agreed to pay $55 million to acquire the ship from NCL Holdings’ Kloster Cruise Lines Ltd., helping NCL meet its debt payments. Seabourn, based in San Francisco and Oslo, Norway, said it will rename the 200-passenger Queen Odyssey ship the Seabourn Legend and will add a dozen shore-side employees over the next several months. Kloster used to operate the Norwegian Cruise Line and the Royal Cruise Line for its parent, NCL Holdings of Oslo. NCL said this week that it will merge the Royal line into the Norwegian line in an effort to trim operating expenses by $25 million a year.
