FOUNTAIN VALLEY — Police are searching for a man who forced a 19-year-old Huntington Beach woman into his vehicle Thursday morning and then sexually molested her before she escaped.
The woman had just finished making a call from a pay phone at Magnolia Street and Talbert Avenue at about 8:30 a.m. when an unarmed man grabbed her and forced her into the passenger seat of his dirty white pickup truck, Fountain Valley Sgt. Dann Bean said.
He made sexual remarks and fondled her before she was able to escape about 10 minutes later at Magnolia Street and Bolsa Avenue in Westminster, Bean said.
Police are looking for anyone who might have seen the man or the incident. He is described as about 26 years old, white, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 150 pounds, with a slim build and short, curly blond hair. He was wearing a white baseball cap, white T-shirt and blue jeans.
The truck is a mid-1980s Toyota or Nissan, police said.
Anyone with information should call Fountain Valley police at 965-4485.
