Fire in Mecca Hospital Kills 13, Injures 33

JIDDA, Saudi Arabia — A hospital fire killed 13 people and injured 33 in Mecca, Islam’s holiest city, the official Saudi Press Agency reported Saturday.
The agency said the blaze Friday was caused by an electrical short circuit. Most of the victims suffered smoke inhalation.
