A Ventura-based law concern that specializes in business matters will divide into two separate firms.
Effective April 1, Muegenburg, Norman & Dowler will be split into one firm headed by Ted Muegenburg and another to be called Norman, Dowler, Sawyer, Israel & Hancock.
Both concerns will continue to concentrate on business and related areas, and both will be located in the original firm’s current building on County Square Drive.
“This is an amicable restructuring of our practices, and we continue to have great respect for one another,” says Richard M. Norman, who will be a principal in the Norman, Dowler office. He said lawyers from both firms will work together when it is in the interest of their clients to do so.
Ted Muegenburg said his practice will continue to be devoted to such matters as business and estate planning, probate and trust administration.
Norman, Dowler will specialize in business, tax and commercial law, civil litigation, employment law, real estate and issues related to water and hazardous waste.
