Two men and a woman wanted in 16 bank robberies in Los Angeles and Orange counties were arrested Thursday after they allegedly held up a Harbor Bank branch in Long Beach, police said.
The robbery occurred about 3:30 p.m. when three people, at least one of whom had a gun, entered the bank in the 6200 block of East 2nd Street, said Officer Maria Mendez-Lopez of the Long Beach Police Department.
“It was the third time they had held up that particular bank,” said Karen Kerr, a police spokeswoman.
The 35-year-old woman and the men, ages 48 and 53, were booked on suspicion of bank robbery, Mendez-Lopez said. Their names were not released.
