Tandy said it called off previously undisclosed talks to sell its unprofitable Computer City chain of 99 computer superstores to rival CompUSA. . . . Investors Bennett LeBow and Carl Icahn said they will announce today that they have won a nonbinding shareholder vote to get RJR Nabisco Holdings to immediately spin off its food unit. . . . Morrison Knudsen said it has started preliminary talks with its secured creditors concerning a recapitalization of the company and has proposed exchanging its existing secured debt for equity in the company.
