Valley Market Looking Up

The Valley housing market showed new signs of life in February. There were more sales of single-family homes during the month than in any February for the last six years, said the San Fernando Valley Assn. of Realtors.
Prices, however, remained soft. The average single-family home price slipped 6% in February to $210,900, from $225,300 last year, according to the Realtors’ group.
