SEASON AT A GLANCE: Ishii is the first girl to play for the highly regarded Warrior golf team. Listed as the No. 5 golfer on the squad, she has finished among the top three in three of the six matches she has played. Her 76.6 average has helped the Warriors to a 12-0 record, which includes victories over top programs from Hart and Santa Barbara San Marcos.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Using the same tees as the boys, Ishii shot a 71 at the par-70 Los Robles Golf Course last Wednesday and tied teammate Andy Sirivicha for medalist honors in a three-team match against Calabasas and Newbury Park. The 71 is a season best for Ishii and only two strokes off her personal best. “She was all smiles,” Westlake Coach Dave Costley said.
