Science fiction writer Ray Bradbury, who graduated from Los Angeles High in 1938, will be signing copies of his books today as part of the school’s Technology Drive. At 10:30 a.m., he will participate in a discussion with director-producer John Landis and another sci-fi writer, Larry Niven.
Books by Bradbury, such as “The Martian Chronicles” and “Fahrenheit 451,” will be sold at the fund-raiser ranging in prices from $6 to $20, with 40% of the proceeds going toward buying computers for Los Angeles High.
School officials hope to raise $5,000.
