Revenue Plan Would Put Rose Bowl Area at Ease
- Share via
I am one who was born and raised in Pasadena back in the era of the building of the original Rose Bowl. My father subscribed to six seats entering at Tunnel 19 to help finance the original construction. The Rose Bowl has so much going for it.
No adequate parking, no adequate capacity. The biggest drawback seems to be the noise factor as it pertains to the surrounding community.
Every time an event is held there, the Rose Bowl commission makes money. How about working out a schedule where some of the increased income is passed on to the affected residents?
This could be done in the form of a tax allowance or monetary gain.
