It’s gift wrap for the food-obsessed--and it beats the usual white-and-silver stuff you’d ordinarily buy for June wedding gifts.
Available at Rizzoli bookstores, Malibu Colony Co., Jumping Dog in Century City Plaza and Mani’s Bakery in West Hollywood.
Stone Fruit
Fruit bowls of a different sort from Glendale artist Cindy Hoffman, who works with low-fire white earthenware clay and lead-free majolica glazes.
Available at Freehand in Los Angeles.
Dream Grill
We’ve yet to save up enough for one of those fancy built-in grills, but we’re doing just fine without. Le Creuset’s stove-top cast-iron grills retain heat so well you don’t need the high BTUs of a professional stove to char your meat and vegetables. Until now, we’ve used the double-burner version, but the new single-grill model--it’s reversible for frying--makes indoor grilling even more accessible.
Available at cookware stores that carry Le Creuset, including Bristol Kitchen in South Pasadena.
