Tonight the moon is bright and midway between the red star Antares, the heart of Scorpius the Scorpion, and Spica, the sheaf of wheat held by Virgo the Maiden. The moon itself is within Libra the Scales, but its bright moonlight overwhelms the stars of this faint constellation. The moon is full June 1.
