A 65-year-old bicyclist died early Monday after being struck by a sport utility vehicle as he was crossing Westminster Boulevard, police said.
Chuan Ngoc Trinh of Westminster was hit in a crosswalk at Olive Street about 4 p.m. Sunday, Police Sgt. David Stronach said. Trinh suffered massive head injuries and was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he died about 1:30 a.m. Monday, Stronach said.
The 54-year-old driver was not cited pending an investigation into whether the driver or Trinh had run a red light, police said.
