A mother and two of her children remained hospitalized Thursday after their minivan collided with a tractor-trailer.
Marina Kowalski, 30, of Simi Valley, was listed in serious but stable condition, as was her son Steve, 7, hospital officials said. A daughter, Beatriz, 4, was taken to UCLA Medical Center and listed in fair condition, hospital officials said.
Another son, Johnathon, 21 months, was treated and released Wednesday, as was the driver of the truck, William Karrasch, 34, of Thousand Oaks.
Authorities said Kowalski made a left turn in front of the tractor-trailer on Cochran Street in Simi Valley and was broadsided.
