Collette’s Band to Open Summer Concert Series

Jazz saxophonist Buddy Collette and his big band kick off the 10th annual summer of free noon performances Wednesday at California Plaza’s Watercourt, 350 S. Grand Ave., Bunker Hill.
Folk musicians will fill the air with Celtic jigs and reels Thursday. On Friday Dr. Loco’s Rockin’ Jalapeno Band arrives with a mix of Latin, rock, jazz and R&B.;
