Rockwell to Buy Sunroof Maker

SEAL BEACH — Rockwell International Corp. agreed to acquire closely held Han Kyung, a maker of manually operated automobile sunroofs, to establish a manufacturing foothold in South Korea.
The acquisition by Rockwell’s Light Vehicle Systems unit in Troy, Mich., will cost less than $5 million, said Sylvio Raymond, the unit’s manager of business development.
Rockwell plans to build a plant to make power sunroofs in Korea.
