Why am I not surprised at the reaction of G-7 leaders to President Clinton’s using the conference for his own political advantage (June 29). These men are not stupid--they have Clinton’s number even if the majority of Americans do not seem to. The bottom line for President Clinton is not “what is best for America,” but “what is best for Clinton politically.”
