Prop. 209 Ruling

Congratulations to the courts for recognizing the deception and deceit in Prop. 209 (“Judge Orders Lungren to Revise Description of Prop. 209,” Aug. 2). It is crucial that voters are alerted to the truth of 209. Prop. 209 will ban affirmative action programs for women and people of color. It will also gut [safeguards against] sex discrimination. The courts have realized the lies of 209, and now it is up to us to go to the polls and show our voices.
