Batbusters Slip, Fall Into Losers’ Bracket

The Orange County Batbusters, a team that includes several players from the area, lost to the Phoenix Storm, 4-3, Saturday and dropped into the consolation bracket of the American Softball Assn. 16-and-under national tournament in Chattanooga, Tenn.
Corrie Roberts of Harvard-Westlake had three hits, including a home run. Earlier, the Batbusters defeated the Texas Pulse, 6-0.
The Valley Breeze was eliminated by the Orange County Athletics, 3-2.
