Moore Scores Twice, Leads Revolution

Associated Press

Joe-Max Moore scored twice to lead the New England Revolution to a 2-0 victory over the Colorado Rapids in Major League Soccer on Friday night.

New England defender Alexi Lalas played the entire game after being benched earlier in the week by Coach Frank Stapleton. The two have been feuding since Lalas missed Revolution games to play with the U.S. Olympic team.

The Revolution (12-13) ended a three-game losing streak and extended its home winning streak to four games. The Rapids dropped to 10-17.
